Once the scorching heat of the afternoon is over and the sun starts setting, you will see a large number of tourists and locals coming out to enjoy the beaches around the Gateway of India. It is truly a special place to see, especially at sunset.
3. Sip cocktails on the rooftop
Besides the 200-foot yacht (which I wish I could), the best place to sunbathe is the Four Seasons Rooftop Bar – even if you’re not staying at the hotel, it’s a very charming establishment that offers some very beautiful views Is. Does. Presents a scene. across town.
4. Enjoy the Clay-Oven Tandoori Food at Peshawari
This is one of the best restaurants in the city to try some authentic Indian food. Don’t expect silver service, Peshawari remains true to the Indian tradition of quality and community dining. If you are a foodie like me then this is truly one of the best things to do in Mumbai!

Just north of the Gateway of India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Elephanta Island is an incredible place to experience temples hand-cut into the rocks 1,500 years ago.

Dedicated to the Prince of Wales in the Victorian era, this museum is now named Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya or CSMVS for short. 8. Walk Marine Drive at Sunset
It is one of the most famous streets of the city that overlooks the Arabian Sea from Nariman Point to Malabar Hill. At sunset, it’s great to take a stroll down (just like the locals do in the city). If you want to do it in the afternoon, just be prepared for some intense heat and bright sunlight.
9. See the Hanging Garden

This building is nothing short of incredible. It is the most prestigious railway station in all of India. It has a distinctive Gothic look and is now a UNESCO heritage site, maintaining its status as one of the world’s most important sites.
